I thoroughly enjoyed La Belle Helene, but by Gum, it was hot! I'm not sure where the Classical Source reviewer was sitting, but from where we were I could have done with some surtitles - Paris was great and projected effortlessly, but I missed some of the other singers' words. Sorry we had to rush off without a drink, but we had a train to catch and an early start the next morning.
